Every day we are witnesses of the cities’ big transformation. In recent years the conception of smart city has been flowering. It concerns not only modernization of streets and buildings, however, it also involves sustainable power engineering, urban space planning, education, access to open data, payment systems, intelligent mobility or smart citizen. These topics will be discussed by participants of the IV edition of Smart City Forum, which will take place on 14th and 15th of September in The Westin Warsaw Hotel. The organizer of the conference is MM Conferences S.A..
Technological progress and computerization of numerous aspects of city’s life and its residents result in new ideas of how to increase the interactivity of urban infrastructure, as well as many issues connected to its implementation. Therefore, dialogue is such an important element. The dialogue between cities, public institutions and private entrepreneurships should serve to exchange their experiences and share good practices in smart city zone. Consequently, the Advisory Board under the chairmanship of Mariusz Gaca, Vice-President of the Board, Orange Poland, consists of presidents of Polish cities and numerous representatives of suppliers of solutions for the sector.
During the Smart City Forum conference we can find numerous inspirations for the further development of our small homelands, for the development of our cities, for exchanging good practices, for certain reflection on what we do in order to do it better. It is the forum during which we can discuss new technologies, smart cities, smart citizens and the future of our cities’ development.– says Robert Biedroń, Mayor of Słupsk.
The Advisory Board makes sure that the substantive part of the congress is on the high level. The Advisory Board consists of i.a.:
Robert Biedroń (Mayor of Słupsk), Sylwia Bilska (Member of the Management Board, Managinf Director, PayU in Poland), Ronald Binkofski (General Manager, Microsoft in Poland), Maciej Bluj (Deputy Mayor of Wrocław), Sebastian Chwałek (Undersecretary of State, Ministry of the Interior and Administration), Marcin Krupa (Mayor of Katowice), Jacek Jaśkowiak (Mayor of Poznań), Marcin Wojdat (Secretary of the City of Warsaw).
